Danesholme Junior Academy is part of the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust (GDFT) Group of Academies.

Overall GDFT primary academies improved their KS2 results by over 11 per cent since joining the Trust and all the primary academies have been judged ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
